At SO–IL, we believe in diversity and equality to promote generous design.
We are aware of the systemic issues in our profession that have resulted in unequal opportunities. We are committed to cultural, economic, racial, and gender diversity in our recruiting process.
Our upper management consists of a minimum of 50% female and BIPOC leaders. Additionally, we mandate 12.5% Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) partners for project teams.

We prioritize environmental stewardship by aiming for zero waste and pollution, high energy efficiency, and low impact in our daily operations.
As global citizens, we continue to search for sustainable alternatives and avoid using harmful materials in our designs.
We are working to measure each project’s embodied and operational carbon to create transparency in our practices within the next two years.
